Finally. I finished my financial projections. Or rather, i finished my projections on Tuesday. I went to meet Ken, a fellow SMU student who has his own business, for him to discuss on our business proposal.
I think i have to re-do my financial projections. goodness..
this is a boring entry.
there's a trade-off between the number of beneficiaries, time where net profit is positive, break even period.
if i were to increase the number of beneficiaries, i have to push back the time where net profit is positive, because an increment in the number of beneficiaries, i have to increase manpower expenses, hence net profit, will take a longer time to be positive because have to wait for demand to increase.
if i were to increase e number of beneficiaries, the time where net profit turns positive is pushed back, which means retained earnings keep being negative. then net profit is also smaller because manpower expenses higher, so retained earnings take a longer time to be positive, hence a longer time to break-even.
now i have to think of how to make sure that i give them a MINIMAL pay, make sure it benefits a large number of beneficiaries, and lastly, ensure that your company breakeven soon.
sighs.
i think we have to reweigh our objectives.
1. giving beneficiaries a minimal pay
2. giving beneficiaries integration into workforce
3. ensuring that they are undergoing rehab (meaning working so that can increase concentration span etc)
woo.

like to do weird things. really weird things. I always wanted to try new things so probably
would do trekking this year and do my social enterprise things. Currently working on a Social Enterprise project and hope it will work out eventually.
One of the greatest thing i learnt this summer is that people are in different things for different reasons and we ought to accept it.
